Aux arbres citoyens !

Since 2001, Nature Québec / UQCN, the Réseau québécois des groupes écologistes (RQGE), Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) and WWF-Canada have joined together to direct public attention to protection of the boreal forest and the urgent need to establish a true network of protected areas in Quebec. Within the strategic framework of Aux arbres citoyens !, the four groups work in collaboration with local communities, First Nations, industry and government with a view to making Quebec a leader in protecting the natural heritage.
